Last Night's Playlist (Tourfilter Night @ River Gods)

The 3rd Thursday of the month brought me back to River Gods for another Tourfilter DJ Night. Last year, when the Sox made the playoffs, the October edition got bumped so the game could be shown, and that almost happened once again -- fortunately the RG staff let Chris Tourfilter and I provide the soundtrack for this year's ALCS Game 5, and as soon as my two-hour slot ended and Chris took over in the booth, something strange happened: We started scoring runs. Enough for a walkoff win. So while he got to DJ during the happier half of the evening, at least I got to pay closer attention to those three unbelievable innings. Good times.

Here's what was heard during my two-hour set, and where each band is playing in the Boston area soon. For those unaware, we only play songs by bands coming to town in the next couple months or so. Some great autumn shows are on deck...
