Sometime within the last hour we officially changed over from Springtime to Summertime. And so the cycle continues on. “Summer is ready when you are.”
Last night I bought my first pair of real ‘running shoes’. Brooks’ “Annihilators” or “Avalanche” or something. No, wait, maybe they’re “Addictions”? Now comes the hard part, where I actually try to ‘run’ in them. I’m not a runner, and I always blamed this fact on the shin-pains I get soon after my feet hit the pavement. Well, supposedly these shoes will help remedy that.
Last night my intended 20-minute “break-in-the-shoes” walk turned into a 2-hour city-wide expedition. Runners blew by me along the Charles River, and I looked at them and thought “That will be me.” I blame Amie for this ’bout of insanity, and we’ll see if it sticks. “Addiction”? I can only hope.
I’ve done some minor site-updating over the past week, most evidenced on the links page. I’ve also finally fleshed out the Information Security links and am starting to work on the Gaming page. As usually (and happily) happens, Summer sucks away my non-workish computer time, so I’m trying to get some things done that have been on my ‘to do’ list for awhile, before the dry spell hits. At some point I’ll be happy with all the sub-sections on the site and I won’t have to mess around with them much. Yeah, right.
