[Boston-Area Action 5/8/25] Shows This Week & New Show Announcements

Once again, I tried to post this yesterday, but ran out of hours. So here’s a slightly delayed list of Boston-area shows I’m hoping to catch in the next seven days, and shows on my radar (and/or maybe yours) that have recently been announced.
In an ideal world, I’d have seen Sea Wolf solo in town last night, but dealing with City Winery on the night of a(nother terrible) Celtics game was a no-go. Sorry, Alex. I definitely had more than a few friends who were over at MGM in Fenway for Japanese Breakfast, but without Yo La Tengo as an opener this time, I just wasn’t compelled.
Extremely psyched about Devo tomorrow night, and especially excited for the long-awaited Hilken Mancini Band LP release show with Mary Lou Lord & The Cujo (featuring Jen Trynin) on Saturday night. As always, a larger list of upcoming shows sits over on the right. Read on…
