[Milestone] Acknowledging an Almanac Anniversary

I feel like I’d be remiss to not at least mention the just-passed 25th Anniversary of this here little website. Registered on February 15th, 2020, the ‘Nac is older than most of the people I stand amongst at certain rock shows lately.
While I may treat 2000-02-15 as the Almanac’s official birthday, it would of course be a little while before my manual html coding had any actual eyes on it, and even longer before I started using MS Frontpage (I know, I know) to throw some amateur graphics in the mix. Behold, the first iteration of Bradley’s Almanac.
So dark! And well before I’d switch to the Blogger platform, then eventually to WordPress.
For a variety of reasons, aside from the right-column show listings, this place has been far too quiet for far too long. Hoping to change that. Stay tuned.

Nice to see the almanac is still alive. You don’t happen to have a digital version of Jedd singing Float from that Guppylove tape, do you?

Hey Matt! I don’t, but the original DAT tape is sitting next to me in a to-do pile. Just need to find the time to transfer to my computer, and I think you’ve motivated me. I’ll drop a note here if/when I get around to it 🙂

The to-do piles never seem to get any smaller.
My poor old brain is remembering Float as having some of the Mongolian instruments that he used on the Sounds Around Burlington track, but maybe too much time is blending the two. Was Float recorded at a different session from Xarhad?
