[Boston-Area Action 10/30/25] My Show-Going Plans & New Show Announcements

So, yeah, my weekly Wednesday “Boston-area show-going-plans & new show announcements” post has become a Thursday post. Sorry. Juggling a little too much at the moment. But I have a glorious day off from work tomorrow, so maybe then I can breathe a little.
There’s not a lot on my local radar in the next handful of days, partially because I’m fixated on the birthday present I’m giving to myself on Saturday: A solo trip to NYC to see Idaho. They rarely play the east coast, and this is a one-off on their way to Europe. For me, they’ve always been one of those ideal autumn soundtrack bands, and it’s been many years since I’ve seen them, so I am unavoidably compelled to make the trip.
But enough about me. Here are some local shows that maybe you’ll be into coming up this week, along with recent Boston-area announcements (The Wedding Present return!). Have a look, make some plans, travel if you gotta. Rarely not worth it.
