[Boston-Area Action 3/4/26] Show-Going Plans & New Show Announcements

Alright, it’s Wednesday again. Weird how that keeps happening. So here’s my little weekly rundown of impending Boston-area shows I’ll probably be at, and new gig announcements that have happened since last week’s post.
Highlights of my imminent plans: The very-sold-out Shannon/Narducy/Wurster/Tellis-Nayak/Stirrat/Juhlin/Marvin train pulls into the Royale on Friday night with their joy-filled celebration of R.E.M.’s “Life’s Rich Pageant” (& more). Exuberance will abound. Also very psyched to see Hong Kong’s Lucid Express at O’Brien’s tonight, and will likely head down to Roslindale on Saturday to see Thalia Zedek Band at The Square Root with Monterey Mountain (a benefit for the ACLU).
Stand-out announcements? The big MONOMAN benefit at the Middle East (RIP Joseph Sater) on March 12th, with a lineup that includes Mission of Burma doing a short set, Tommy Stinson down in Hingham in April, and Robyn Hitchcock full-band electric right in my ‘hood in June.
